Wine Tasting Events
Fun and informative wine tastings created to ensure plenty of interaction and participation - everyone joins in and learns a thing or two!
Your wine tasting event would start with a brief introduction on how How to swirl, sniff, & taste with the best of them and running with your chosen wine theme (see some ideas below) we can get stuck in with some blind wine challenges and even a team quiz if you like! The emphasis
is on events being fun and interactive. The options challenge at the end is a great way to finish with the last person standing winning a bottle of bubbly! Each of the themes below are based on 2 hours and can of course be extended or condensed.
 | Old World vs New World from £25pp Can you tell your Burgundy from your Australian Chardonnay? You'll discover fascinating facts on may of the worlds wine producing regions and with some blind wine challenges thrown in discover whether in fact you can tell your Old World from your New World Wine |
 | Guess the Grape from £25pp Your opportunity to try grape varieties side by side and get an understanding of their unique characteristics. Maybe you'll discover a new variety you like or surprise yourself when you re-discover riesling! You'll try 8 different wines and can have great fun trying to identify them with the tasting tips and clues. |
 | 5 steps to becoming a 'wine expert' from £30pp Step 1: Guess the Grape variety (1 red, 1 white) Step 2: New World vs Old World (2 wines, same grape just a different part of the world) Step 3: Vintage (2 wines, can you tell which ones been around the longest?) Step 4: Quality (can you tell which wine is better quality and hence more expensive?) Step 5: Now you’re an expert! Identify the grape, country, vintage, price. |
 | Bubbly from £35pp Can you tell Champagne from other sparkling wines? Just how do those bubbles get in the bottle? You'll discover the key difference in the sparkling wines from around of world as you have plenty of fun tasting them! |
 | Cheese & Wine from £38pp Add another dimension to your tasting with cheese! With such a diversity of flavours in both cheese and wine the infamous pairing is much broader than you may think. You'll taste whites, reds and a dessert wine alongside the cheese. |
