Wine Courses and events, One Day Wine Workshops and Gift Vouchers

1.        Your booking is not secured until payment is received – all courses and workshops must be paid for in advance.

2.        All vouchers need to be used as specified on the voucher or before the expiry date if an open voucher was purchased. The voucher will otherwise become invalid.

3.        All bookings and gift vouchers are non-refundable (except per terms and conditions CR1 below), however bookings can be changed to another course or person subject to the terms and conditions stated below. (Transfer Procedure T1 – T4)

4.        You may choose to put your voucher towards a workshop or course of greater value and will be charged the difference in price.

Cancellation and Transfer Procedure

If you are unable to attend a course, you will be able to transfer to another course, subject to availability, (within 6 months of the original course date) or transfer your place to a friend/colleague or family member. The following charges and rules apply:
 

Cancellations and Refunds :

·          CR1. If a refund is requested within 7 days of payment for any open voucher (prior to any fixed date being booked) to the value of £150 a £20 administration fee is payable and £35 for any value greater than £150. After 7 days point 2 below applies.

·          CR2. If a booking is cancelled more than 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the event a £40 per person administration fee becomes payable for all evening courses and £20 per person fee for one-day events, workshops and other events. The balance will be refunded.

·          CR3. If a booking is cancelled less than 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the event, no refund will apply.

·          CR4. If you fail to attend any course or event, no refund will apply.

Transfer Procedure :

·          T1. If a booking is changed to another date or course more than 4 weeks prior to the beginning of the event, no fee is charged.

·          T2. If a booking is changed to another date or course between 2 and 4 weeks prior to the event, a £40 administration fee applies for all courses and £15 per person for One-day events.

·          T3. No date changes are allowed less than 2 weeks prior to any event. However, you are welcome to transfer your place in the name of a friend/colleague or family member.

·          T4. If you are unable to attend any course due to illness, upon receipt of your medical certificate, you will be able to reschedule the date subject to availability. A £40 administration fee per person for all courses and events will apply.

Missed class procedure for evening courses:

·          M1. You can arrange to sit in on any missed evening class from the BWA or World of Wine course (subject to availability) at a fee of £18 per class.

General

·          G1. All reschedule notifications or cancellations must be received in writing (email,fax or post). A form will them be emailed/posted to you for completion and any refund due will be paid once this has been returned with your voucher.

·          G2. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any course or event.

·          G3. A refund will apply if you can't make the new date  (full refund on any one day wine workshops and refund on a per class basis for any evening courses).

·          G4. Wine Unearthed reserve the right to ask any person to leave any workshop / course if behavior is deemed unacceptable or disruptive to others.

·          G5. Wine Unearthed are not liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of attending a Wine Unearthed course or hosted event.

·          G6. All bookings / purchases are subject to our standard terms and conditions. In booking a place on any course or event or buying a gift voucher, you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions.
