Job Description
Are you passionate about wine? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge with others? Are you organised and timely? Are you enthusiastic, sociable, and able to present well to groups?
Wine Unearthed specialise in wine education and events. We host corporate and private tastings as well as fun and informative one day wine tasting workshops. It is to this end with our continued business growth we are looking for hosts for our Saturday Wine workshops.
The position is part time and dependant on location covered you will be required to work anything from 1 to 4 Saturdays a month. Longer term there is potential for your position to grow with private and corporate tastings.
You will be provided with everything you need to host the workshops and full training on the day’s set up, structure and general content will be provided.
You will need to have :
- solid wine knowledge preferably to WSET Diploma or equivalent level although experience will be taken into consideration if hold Advanced/level 3.
- excellent presentation skills and be relaxed speaking to groups.
- a genuine and infectious passion for wine
- a welcoming demeanor and the ability to make people feel relaxed and at ease
- plenty of enthusiasm and energy and the ability to think on your feet
- strong commitment,flexibility and organisational skills
- Full, clean driving license - you will need to drive with wines and equipment to venue

You will be paid per event. We offer a competitive rate which will vary dependant upon experience of candidate. Most of the events will run 10.30am-4pm on a Saturday with time required either side to set up and pack away.
