In a break from Tradition we are starting our Xmas Tastings early this year - we usually try to fit two or three tastings in just before Christmas which sometimes makes planning your wines a bit of a rush - so this year, now that Halloween and Bonfire Night are out of the way, we can start planning the main event - Christmas!

We will be tasting 1 Sparkling, 1 White and 1 Red
 
We will start with the Fizz  that is more premium than Prosecco but less expensive than a Franciacorta...oh and its Pink!
It's a rosé fizz from Emigliana Romana and made from Sangiovese grapes.
 
Wine 2 is a  £20+ Greco di Tufo from Campania. The last time we tasted a Greco it was a massive hit on our Virtual tasting and this is one of Italy's best
 
We will finish with a £20+ Red Wine from the rolling hills of the Veneto region - a superb Valpolicella Ripasso. The best 'Half-way-house' wine that you can have! Time spent on the Amarone skins provide it with more body, depth, intensity, complexity (more of everything!) than a basic Valpolicella - yet at often only half the price of the rightly lauded Amarone from the same producer.
