Based on the popularity of our Christmas tastings last year we are once again starting our Xmas Tastings early this year - we usually try to fit two or three tastings in just before Christmas which sometimes makes planning your wines a bit of a rush - so this year, we will try and sprinkle several festive tastings in well in advance of the big day!

We will be tasting 1 Sparkling, 1 White and 1 Red
We will start with the Fizz -
A cracking Methode Cap Classique from South Africa - traditional method, just like Champagne, just not at Champagne prices!
Wine 2 is a premium New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with a bit of bottle age and a bit more depth and complexity than the big brands offer.
We will finish with the Red Wine that my Xmas wouldn't be complete without - Pinot Noir.
This may well be the first wine from Tasmania that we have used in 6.5 years of Virtual Tastings - Tasmania make exquisite, elegant, cool climate wines - famed for Pinot Noir (and Chardonnay, fizz and Riesling!)
