Following on from the highly popular 'Understanding the Wines of France' series of tastings, comes a series of 4 tastings looking to get under the skin of Italy and its wines. It will provide you with a deeper understanding of the landscapes, regions and cultures through this very diverse and regionalised wine country.

In part 2 we will take a closer look at the distinctive wines from Northern Italy.

Join us on Friday 26th April to taste 2 whites and 2 reds that are perfect to get you in the mood for your summer holidays! We’ll kick things Off with a cracking Alvarinho from Portugal and a refreshing Verdejo from Spain. followed by 2 reds from the banks of the Douro river. It’s called the Duero in Spain where the fantastic Tempranillo based wines of Ribera del Duero hail from and the Douro in Portugal where touriga nacional blends are stealing attention away from port!

All of our Virtual Wine-Tasting sessions are designed to help you develop your understanding of the vast World of Wine.You'll learn how to taste wine like a professional as well as learning more about wine regions and grape varieties and the factors that influence the wine in your glass. You'll discover more about the wines you like and gain greater confidence and further your appreciation of wine!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Book onto one of our live virtual winetasting sessions below.

You'll be sent the 3 wines for that session*

You'll receive either our 'World of Wine' or 'Vine to Wine' notebook with your first case dependant on which is relevant to your session

You'll receive an access code prior to the session - we're using zoom so you will need this.

Each online wine tasting session will last approx 60 mins

You only need one booking per household. Each session includes your 3 wines and everything else per above. Most virtual tastings, unless specified otherwise, include 3 full 750ml bottles which you can continue to enjoy in the days following the session if you've managed to save some! "Excellent Value for Money!"

*wines will normally arrive by the Wednesday before your session - please place your order by the Saturday before the session to ensure time to get your wine to you. Beware sessions may sell out sooner, Delivery is £7.99 (mainland UK). If your wine has not arrived by the Wednesday then please get in touch with us. Do not leave it until the day before your session to advise us.
